It has been a very busy and positive week in school, and I would like to begin by thanking all of our students and staff for the way they have responded so well to the recent hot weather.听

As we move towards the end of another rewarding academic year, I would like to take a moment to reflect on some of the many highlights from the past week and to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our students.

What a purposeful and richly busy week it has been across our school community!听 It has been a joy to see our students, staff and others working together.

There is always a renewed sense of energy at the start of a new half-term, and it has been wonderful to see our students return with a clear determination to finish the year well.

This week鈥檚 Careers Fair was a wonderful occasion and the highlight of the term. It provided our students with a valuable opportunity to meet range of professionals and to continue to think deeply about their futures.听

As we move into one of the busiest and most important periods of the school year, I would like to begin this newsletter by wishing every student in Year 11 and Year 13 the very best of luck as they sit their public examinations.

This week has been a particularly positive for our school community, with students across several year groups benefitting from valuable opportunities.

We are so proud of our Year 10 students for the responsible and resilient way they have conducted themselves during their recent mid-course assessments which concluded today. These assessments are an important milestone, not only academically, but personally.

As the term continues, there is much to celebrate across the school. Students have settled well into routines, staff have been impressed by the positive approach to learning, and there is a real sense of momentum as we look ahead to the coming weeks.

Welcome Back After Easter.

It has been lovely to welcome everyone back after the Easter break. The school has been typically calm, purposeful and positive.

As we come to the end of a busy term, it has been wonderful to reflect on the experiences our students have enjoyed. One of the highlights of recent weeks has been our visits to St Katherine鈥檚 Greek Orthodox Church.

This week also saw two successful visits. Our Year 12 Technology students visited the Mini Cooper factory, gaining first鈥慼and insight into modern manufacturing, design processes, and engineering innovation.听

This week has been such a vibrant one, with students across the school engaging in a variety of activities that have showcased their creativity.听

This week has been an energetic one across our school community.

It has been wonderful to be back in school after the half鈥憈erm break. The sense of purpose that fills our corridors reminds me what a privilege it is to be part of such a vibrant community.

As we come to the end of what has been a purposeful final week of the half term, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work, focus and character shown across the school.听

This week we are incredibly proud to watch Andrew, who achieved an outstanding 3rd place in the Barnet Jack Petchey 鈥淪peak Out鈥 Challenge on Wednesday evening.

This week has been marked by several moments that reflect the ethos of our school community: one grounded in faith and care for every child. I am delighted to share some highlights.

Welcome to 2026! We are delighted with how positively our students have returned to school. As we step into this new year, we are enthused for what this new term will bring.听

This final week of term has been particularly special as we embraced the festive season. Christmas has been at the heart of our celebrations, and the school atmosphere has been full of purposeful cheer.听

This week has been a wonderful showcase of the talent within our school community.

This week, we marked 海角社区鈥檚 Day with joy. The celebrations were heartwarming and bought together students and staff in a spirit of unity and faith.听

This week one of the highlights so far has been the winner of the Jack Petchey Environmental Achievement Award.

This time last year, we welcomed you to our Sixth Form Open Evening in our old building. On Thursday 20 November we will welcoming to explore our brand-new buildings with amazing spaces for our Sixth form! Register your interest now!

We are delighted to share that instrumental tuition, and our Music Academy opportunities are open for applications through BEAT (Barnet Education Arts Trust).
