Transition Day
Every year students in Year 6 have the opportunity to visit their secondary school before the end of the summer term. This year the borough-wide transition day was on Thursday 2 July 2026. On this day, we welcomed all the Year 6 students who have chosen our school and the day was an important opportunity for students to begin the settling-in process. Throughout the day, students met with their form group, experienced a range of typical lessons, and began to build new friendships before September. Parents were also invited to the school to meet those who will be supporting their child in September.
Making the transition from primary school to secondary school is an important step in every child鈥檚 life.

Transition Activities Challenges:
